Images are converted on your device and never uploaded. Animated GIFs convert their first frame. Built with open-source codecs: MozJPEG, libwebp, libavif, Oxipng (via jSquash, Apache-2.0) and libheif for HEIC (LGPL-3.0, loaded as a separate unmodified library).
Pick a format for where the image is going. Not sure? WebP for websites, JPG for everything else.
Best for: Your website or online store.
Much smaller than JPG at the same look, supports transparency, and every modern browser shows it.
Best for: Photos that must open anywhere — email, marketplaces, print shops.
The most compatible photo format there is. No transparency, so cut-outs get a background colour.
Best for: Logos, screenshots, text and graphics with sharp edges.
Lossless: every pixel stays exact. Big for photos — use WebP or JPG for those.
Best for: The smallest possible files for modern websites.
Often smaller than WebP at the same quality, but slower to create and not accepted by every upload form.
Best for: Your website's favicon.
One file containing every icon size browsers and Windows ask for, from 16×16 up to 256×256.
Best for: What iPhones save photos as.
Great for the phone, but many websites and Windows apps can't open it. Convert to JPG or WebP to share or upload.
No. Every conversion happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to ASSOSIATIX or anyone else, so it's safe for unreleased product photos and private pictures.
Drop the HEIC files here (or AirDrop/copy them to your computer first), choose JPG — or WebP for a website — and download. Photos keep their correct rotation.
JPG, WebP and AVIF are lossy: they shrink files by dropping detail you mostly can't see. Around 75–85 quality looks like the original for most photos. PNG and ICO are lossless and keep every pixel. Use the compare slider to check.
Converting an already-compressed photo to PNG, or saving at very high quality, can create a larger file. The tool flags it — try WebP or AVIF, or lower the quality.
Yes. Converted files are re-created from the pixels only, so GPS location, camera model and other EXIF data are not carried over.
WebP gives the best balance of small size and quality and works in all modern browsers. For product photos, a longest side of about 2048 px is plenty for zoom on most stores.
Up to 50 images at a time, each up to 50 MB and 50 megapixels — enough for phone and camera photos while keeping your browser from running out of memory.
Light images are step one. ASSOSIATIX designs and builds fast, conversion-focused storefronts — from product pages to the systems behind them.
