Challenge
Shopify merchants need ads that actually perform, but the stack is fragmented. Platform-specific images, niche copy, and video that converts 3× better than stills all sit behind designers or expensive tools. Meta and TikTok are two dashboards and two billing systems. Campaigns that go stale need constant re-testing. Hiring UGC creators still happens in DMs and spreadsheets. There was no single path from connected store to live, optimizing ads—and real human creatives when AI is not enough.
Solution
ASSOSIATIX designed and built JAM Ad Co-Pilot. Merchants connect Shopify once. The platform analyzes products, generates stills with Gemini Imagen 3 through a 15-chunk prompt engine (Nano Banana), produces 30-second vertical videos with Google Veo-3.1, writes niche copy with GPT-4, and launches to the Facebook and TikTok Ads APIs. Growth Mode watches performance and regenerates weak variants on a daily queue. A built-in UGC marketplace lets merchants hire creators with Stripe Connect, a nine-state order flow, and real-time chat.
Implementation
We shipped four coordinated applications: a conversion landing site, a Remix Shopify embedded app (OAuth, HMAC, Admin GraphQL, webhooks), a React merchant and creator dashboard, and a NestJS API with PostgreSQL, BullMQ, Redis, and Socket.io. Image overlays use Sharp and bundled fonts; video generation polls Veo, sanitizes silent safety-filter rejects, and falls back when quota is exhausted. Payments hold funds until delivery, then capture and transfer.
Outcome
A production Shopify marketing SaaS that covers the full lifecycle: connect store, generate image and video ads, launch on Meta and TikTok, auto-optimize underperformers, and hire UGC creators without leaving the product.
What we built
Nano Banana image engine
Structured prompts assemble from 15+ chunks—platform format, brand tone, mood, ad angle, niche, hook, and CTA. Gemini Imagen 3 generates the still; Sharp paints headlines and CTAs with safe-zone detection. AI mode picks the combination from product data so merchants never configure a prompt.
Veo-3.1 video ads
Each product gets three 30-second vertical variants—problem/solution, testimonial, unboxing—built as opening, middle, and ending segments. We wait for Veo to finish processing before extending, retry silent safety-filter rejects with cleaner prompts, and fall back to a second video API when quota is hit.
Meta and TikTok launch
Campaigns, ad sets, and creatives are created through each platform's API with the right format—1:1 and 4:5 for Meta, 9:16 video for TikTok. Copy is centralized so headline and primary text stay consistent across niches and seasons.
Growth Mode
A daily cron scores live ads against configurable ROAS, CTR, and frequency floors, then enqueues regenerations on BullMQ. Jobs run asynchronously with retries and per-store isolation, so one account never blocks the rest.
UGC marketplace
Creators list packages and portfolios; merchants hire against a Shopify product and brief. Orders move through a strict nine-state machine with an audit log. Stripe authorizes at hire, captures on completion, pays the creator, and cancels the intent on refund so unused funds are never charged.
Co-pilot and trends
An in-product GPT-4 assistant retrieves the merchant's best past ads from Pinecone before it answers. Trend Pulse scrapes social signals, summarizes angles, and applies a trend to a campaign in one click.
